I was interested in art from a fairly early age. I attended Saturday morning life drawing classes for several years at The Byam Shaw School of Art and went there to complete the first year of my art foundation course eventually moving on to Chelsea School of Art.

I have always been interested in form, colour and texture and would say that my main influences have been the french impressionists. Other artists, for example, Turner, Cezanne and Georgia O'Keefe have also influenced my work.
